Theresa Brady, Owner/CEO
Lee A. Unger, Municipal Accounting Specialist
Theresa has more than 30 years of professional experience with accounting and business functions. Between LMES, Weyerhaeuser, NSI, and NBBSI Theresa has gain a broad diversity of experience in financial management to include; monthly financial statement preparation, general ledger, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, facility and product inventory, payroll, taxes, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, financial aspects of project management, providing senior managers with quality data to make informed and responsible management decisions, and any other functions viewed to add value. She has coordinated software implementations and provided support to small start-up companies.
Theresa's passion is in helping others meet their potential. Her diversity of experiences, combined with her proven leadership skills, creative thinking, and drive for quality has prepared her to be an invaluable contributor to any team.
Her first 21 years of experience was with Lockheed Martin Energy Systems (LMES), a prime contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE), in various progressive responsibility roles; from Internal Auditor, where she performed internal assessments of the different company functions and financial audits of LMES contractors. There she progresses through various positions to culminate as Program Financial Manager (PFM) where she and her staff managed an annual program budget in excess of $1.0B. She participated in software implementations, and was found to be an effective facilitator for “Root Cause” analysis, “Strategic Planning” sessions, and Total Quality Management (TQM) teams.
For 7 years she served as Plant Controller for the Weyerhaeuser Company where she and her staff were accountable for the overall fiscal management of ~60.0M in annual sales and related expenses.
As a bridge position, Theresa worked for the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA). In this capacity she functioned much like a consultant. She identified internal control improvement opportunities, and brought structure to various programs that were federally funded through the MDA. Additionally, she became a primary resource for responding to state audits.
Most recently she served as Corporate Controller and Systems Development Manager for Neel-Schaffer Inc. (NSI). A medium sized Engineering firm with offices across 9 southeastern states.
Theresa worked with Nu Breed Business Solutions (NBBSI) to bring up this start-up company with all the necessary registrations, set up its chart of accounts structure to be FAR friendly, provided monthly financial statements, set up its bank accounts, and managed all financial and business aspects of this small company.
Theresa holds dual bachelor degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from The Alcorn State University and a Masters in Accountancy from Louisiana State University.
Lee brings over 30 years of municipal accounting experience to the team. Most recent has been as Director of Finance and Administration for the city of Jackson, MS where he served from May 2010 to August 2014. In that capacity he help develop the city's annual budget of over $500.0M and provided management and reporting of the approved budget. He provided leadership to the Divisions of finance and accounting, procurement, municipal court services, information technology, and telecommunications. He was instrumental in moving the city from a paper time keeping system to an electronic system which saves the city over $3.0M each year. He along with his staff provided administrative support to citizens and departments through the procurement of goods and services and provided the Mayor, City Council, and Department Directors with information needed for fiscal decisions and financial accountability.
Prior to assuming the municipal position, he served for 28 years at The Piney Woods School, a private coeducational boarding school, as vice president for fiscal affairs, managing all of the day to day fiscal and accounting operations .
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from historic Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS. Additionally he has completed graduate work at Jackson State University, Jackson MS and Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ.
Jawann Brady, IT Manager
Jawann has spent the past 12 years working in various capacities in the field of Information Technology. While most of that time was spent in varying roles on the side of the Software Development, there has also been time spent on System and Network Administration.
Jawann has an Associates in Arts in Multimedia & Web Design from The Art Institute of Atlanta and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Business Management.
Technology should support business processes, not the other way around, and as the head of IT it's his responsibility to make sure the organization has the right tools for the right job, and "finding jobs" for a tool to do because it is "liked".
Jamonn Brady, Sales & Marketing Manager
Jamonn has 14 years of direct sales and business management experience. Three of these years were in the Leadership Development program for Consolidated Graphics. Surrounding that are 11 years of sales ranging from door to door sales (Southwestern Company), to retail (Sprint PCS), to B2B commercial print sales (Consolidated Graphics) and now with his company FEEDBACC. Jamonn has a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Tennessee. Jamonn also receives continued education at home, being a husband and father of two kids (15-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter). When he is not marketing, you will find him on a soccer fields all over the mid-state, playing and coaching.
